Hi Starland Music School,
I heard from Emily Packard that your school might be looking for a
violin teacher. I’ve recently moved back to the area- and I teach
violin and viola. I’m a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory,
and just recently graduated with my Masters degree in Orchestral
Career Studies from University of Nevada Reno. After completing my
graduate work in Reno, I’ve recently moved back to the bay area and
would love to join your faculty. I’m an experienced teacher, and had
my own private studio for years in the Reno-Tahoe area.
I have been a member of the Reno Philharmonic, serve as principal
violist for the Susanville Symphony and coach chamber music for the
Reno-Tahoe Suzuki Program (SMART). I’d be happy to send my resume if you send me an email address.

Hello Cynthia! After all this time I cannot believe I found you! You sound well and happy with your music. I’m glad my Mom played a part. I have lived in Yosemite for a long time now (1979)! I had the good fortune to be one of Ms. Holmes’ students in Virginia, and I can say wholeheartedly that whoever has the opportunity to study from her ought to do so. She is a thrilling and extraordinary teacher who sees greatness in her students, and inspires them to strive for that greatness.
