Instrument Rentals (NEMC)
The following is information you'll need to rent a band instrument:
The regular monthly rental fee to rent a Flute, Clarinet, or
Trumpet is
26.93 per month, and for an Alto Sax, only $50.18 per month.
We have a special introductory offer: When you rent one of these
instruments for the 5 month minimum, you receive a special rate of
$87.53 for the Flute, Clarinet, or Trumpet, and $156.04 for the Alto
Sax (that's approximately 2 months FREE). With this
introductory offer, the fee also covers fire and burglary insurance,
as well as damage coverage and sales tax. After the 5 months you
will be charged the regular monthly rental fee.
All instruments available for rent are new or like new, top
brand-name instruments in perfect condition.
Our rental program is rent-to-own. Unlike many rental programs
where only the first 3 or 6 months apply towards purchase, we'll
apply 100% of the rental portion towards the purchase and there's
no interest or carrying charges. Of course, you can return the instrument
at any time.
There are a couple of additional things you should know:
First, we don't usually require a deposit to rent an instrument,
but we do require good credit references. You will be required to
fill out a credit application.
A valid drivers license and a valid
credit card will be needed to verify and complete the contract. You
will not be charged anything on the credit card.
Second, we want to make sure that when someone rents an instrument,
they will take proper care of it. To do that we strongly
recommend that the student
purchase a maintenance kit which has all the accessories you'll
need along with instructions on proper care. The cost for this kit
is approximately $16 - $20.
We require a check (only) for the rental payment only made out to NEMC.
Cash or credit cards are not accepted for band instrument rentals.
