Vic Artiga

Vic Artiga is a seasoned musician and teacher. He studied guitar at the Musicians Institute with fusion luminary Scott Henderson  and studied guitar and bass at Berklee College of Music Online with jazz sage Gary Burton.

Vic has been playing guitar and ukulele in the Bay Area and Hawaiian islands for over thirty years.  He combines the soulfulness of Wes Montgomery with the smoothness of George Benson and the fire of Ritchie Blackmore. Some even call him the ‘Swiss Army Knife’ of guitar styles.  He performs all over the U.S. with VIP Music Duo,  the all military veteran Weekend Tsunami Band, and international actor and singer Danielle Braund. He teaches guitar, bass, and ukulele all over the Bay Area. In his free time he enjoys scuba diving and traveling the world. Vic has been at Starland since 2022 and is excited to get you started on your musical journey!
